Where will the road take you !
We offer a unique blend of equine-assisted learning occupational therapy and hippotherapy services, harnessing the therapeutic power of horses to facilitate physical, emotional, and cognitive development in individuals. Our comprehensive approach integrates evidence-based occupational therapy techniques with the profound benefits of interacting with horses, promoting sensory integration, motor skills development, emotional regulation, and social interaction. Through tailored sessions, we empower clients to achieve their therapeutic goals in a dynamic outdoor environment, fostering growth, independence, and well-being.
Equine-assisted therapy (EAT) involves a horse/pony and a therapist. The form of therapy allows for interaction with a horse or pony.
Sarah incorporates the use of a horse/pony into the therapy programme. This 1:1 form of therapy allows for promotion of educational, personal and therapy goals for the child/adult to learn more about themselves. The new skills learnt can then be transferred into activities of daily living.
EAT is completed on the ground with no riding involved. Set within the equine environment and not within a clinic, it can be fun !!!!
